FAQ’s and SBAQ’s

Frequently Asked Questions (as well as Should Be Asked Questions)

This will always be a work in progress, so ask me any questions either by email or by making a comment to any post on the blog.

Q: I didn’t receive my login credentials after joining.

A: Some email providers, especially hotmail, outlook, msn, live, yahoo, and a few others routinely block emails sent from an automated script, such as the one that sent your login information to you. There are three possible solutions.

1. When you join, you are automatically logged into the site. If you haven’t logged out yet, you can go to this page:

http://e1klight.com/my-profile

and you’ll be able to change your password there to something you’ll remember for the future (please store it safely).

That’s the easiest option.

2. Otherwise, send a support request to me at: 5buckguy@gmail.com

I’ll need to know what email address you paid with (the system sets you up based on your PayPal email address, or if you paid by credit card, the address you supplied).

If possible, if you can give me a new address that’s more reliable than one of the above, that would be great. Otherwise I can reset your password for you and reply to your support request with that new password, and then you’ll be able to log in at the address in option 2 above.

Q: What’s the difference between Earn1KaDay and the E1K Light?

A: First, Earn1KaDay is my premiere membership site, full of huge value, coaching courses, an archive of way over 1000 downloads going back to May 2007 (when it started), and many expert members who check in frequently willing to answer your toughest questions about all sorts of marketing related issues.

Since the value is so high, I’ve had to increase the price several times over the years since 2007, and I realized eventually that it wasn’t affordable for everyone, especially those just starting out.

So I decided to split off part of Earn1KaDay to a smaller site, and thus make it more affordable to those who might not be ready to take advantage of everything inside Earn1KaDay until they can start earning enough to justify it.

Thus, the idea for E1K Light was born.

So basically, compared to Earn1kaDay, E1K Light has no forum, not as many coaching courses, and the downloads that members have access to are limited to the last 2 full months plus the current month.

Earn1KaDay also provided access to the Rapid Crush 6 in 6 Coaching program until November 2015 when my license expired, but members can access the detailed notes of the sessions (120 of them as of March 2016).

Anyway, Earn1KaDay members get the downloads that have been archived since May 2007, and E1K Light members only get the last 2+ months.

When a new month starts then, the links for downloads more than 2 months old will be removed (example, on April 1st, January downloads are removed, leaving February, March, and then what gets added in April). So therefore you should download what you need while it’s still available to you.

The exception to that policy is that the Sean Mize library will be kept available for all members (not removed after 2 months).

Q: I get logged out of the site occasionally, what’s up with that?

A: I’ve been told by the support staff at DAP that it’s because of server configuration, but they gave me a patch that makes it minimally frustrating. That patch sets a delay of 2 hours of idle time before you’re automatically logged out. If that happens, just log back in.
