In this short report, Sean Mize writes about the Internet marketing lie that causes beginners to have false hope and to continue to purchase one bright shiny object after another
Years ago I belonged to a membership site run by Ginny Culp, who was famous at the time for creating original music that could be used by members royalty free, as well as add the music to their own membership sites where those members could also use the music (but not redistribute it elsewhere).
Ginny quit providing the music after a while, but for almost 3 years I accumulated it all. There is over 1.5 GB in size of these audios (zipped size, so much larger unzipped).
Rights: You can use these in your videos, audios, or wherever you please (except on television broadcasts, see the license included in the unzipped folders).
I was asked what members could do with the music, could they use it for commercial purposes (the license actually says for personal use only), and could they produce something for sale that contained these audios.
This is what Ginny told me on March 4, 2011:

But in my opinion, there’s no value in being only able to use the music for a personal project. So at the lowest level of licensing, a buyer can use the music for any commercial purpose, and their creation can be sold.
Use this as part of your selling strategy, since it isn’t common. |
So yes, you can incorporate the music into products for sale, but you cannot allow others to resell that product, and you cannot distribute these audios in original format to others for any purpose.
Here you go, none of it is organized other than by batch where she provided a new batch every month until the end.
So you can have a great time going through it all to find music that suits your unique purpose.
